Why I Started Blogging
To be honest, I started personal blogging because I wanted a place to share my findings. Often, I find myself lost in thought, which leads to daydreaming. When reality pulls me back, the feeling of frustration can be overwhelming, so I type. How does that sound? Nostalgic, maybe.
But on a serious note, I started blogging because I wanted to help someone—the only child. I often talk to my mom, dad, or a couple of friends about my day and the experiences I’ve had, but I want to elevate those conversations to a level where I’m the one solving problems. I want to engage with the only child, not just to share how independence can challenge you, but because I want to gain clarity from my own experiences.
Lessons from Boarding School in Nigeria
What lessons am I supposed to learn from going to boarding school in Nigeria? That’s a question I continue to ask myself. It’s one of the many experiences that has shaped who I am today. It taught me resilience and how to navigate challenging environments, but I’m still unraveling the deeper lessons.
The Birth of My YouTube Channel
So why did I decide to start a YouTube channel, especially when I’m a slow editor? It’s quite simple—I’m an introvert. I tend to operate and work independently, and I love to type. That’s where I feel most comfortable. But I also wanted to educate the only child that the SHOW MUST GO ON. So, here I am, blogging and creating videos. It’s a form of self-expression that helps me connect with others, despite my introverted nature.
Navigating Daily Life as an Introvert
There is so much that takes place in my life, but at the same time, it feels like nothing at all. I say that because I’m reserved, and I go through my daily routine—eating, sleeping, cleaning, and other tasks—but those activities are attached to feelings, and what I hear or see leaves an impression. Some kind of emotion drives me to do what I need to do, and those feelings also influence how I react to situations.
Why I’m Blogging
I want to clarify something here: I don’t write and type these blog posts because I think people need to hear my opinion. No. These blog posts are meant to resonate with you, the only child, so that you know I truly understand. I understand because I’ve been there, and I’m sharing because I feel like it’s worth passing on. Sometimes, if people would just share more, rather than holding back, we wouldn’t feel so “alone” or “stuck.”
The Purpose Behind My Journey
In the end, I started blogging on a whim, to share my ongoing journey in life. But I also hope to gain knowledge from you—maybe you can tell me something that I can apply to another part of my life. I also started blogging because I want to give the only child tips for improving personal development, from financial to emotional goals. Here, on AccordingtoModishyeBlog, the roles are reversed: I talk, and you listen—at least, before you share your comments and advice.
Final Thoughts
So, in summary, I started blogging because… why not? It’s an outlet for me to voice my opinions and help the only child navigate personal development. I hope to gain knowledge from you as well because maybe you tell me something that I can apply to another situation in my life.
